SCULPTURE TO CELEBRATE COMMUNITY ARTS PIONEER

On 21st 2014 March a sculpture to celebrate the contribution of Helen Crummy and the Women of Craigmillar was presented to the world.

The sculpture by Tim Chalk, celebrates the famous story of Helen’s desire for her eldest son to learn to play the violin. Which gave birth to The Craigmillar Festival Society. Which has been an inspiration for many projects worldwide.
